A Twestival is a local festival organized via Twitter.
It’s happening again on Thursday 25 March. The first global Twestival was held on 12 February 2009, and it’s all about doing good and raise money for local causes. Read more about the impact of Twestival.
Now. On Thursday 25 March 2010, people in hundreds of cities around the world will come together offline to rally around the important cause of Education by hosting local events to have fun and create awareness.
A Twitter Festival (or twestival) is about using social media for social good. It’s all 100% organized by volunteers and 100% of the money will go direct to projects.
